History
Foundation
KEMMI was founded in 1997. Since the very beginning, the company’s vision has been to produce special pasta for beshbarmak, one of the most popular dishes of Kazakh cuisine, as well as kespe noodles and lagman noodles. One year after it was created, the company had its first line in place and was manufacturing its unique products.
The company became the first producer of beshbarmak noodles.
In 1998, full product specifications – coded 01-01 – were developed for beshbarmak pasta. This enabled KEMMI, their first producer, to acquire relevant compliance certificates. Upon the company’s request an Individual State Standard was also developed for beshbarmak noodles. Its number is ST №001, and it is still in effect.
